I’m excited to support Sarah Aadland for school board.
I first met Sarah when she volunteered to work with students on enrichment at Taylors Falls Elementary. She had good rapport with the students and came up with many creative ideas. There are three attributes that I see that Sarah has that will make her an asset to the School Board.
Sarah works hard.
Sarah does her homework. She reads up and thinks about issues that come before the school board. With a degree in economics, she loves to read and analyze the spreadsheets and the financial business of the school district. She studies materials before the meeting and attends many extra committee meetings that take place between board meetings.Sarah works well with others.
This is so important that our school board members work together, listening and considering a variety of viewpoints. Sarah is visible in the community, attending school and community events. She has three children who have participated in activities, so she has and is attending many school events for her children. She can help communicate with parents and school district residents as well as hear their concerns.Sarah cares about the students, teachers, and the community. She is concerned about ALL students and is committed to each student receiving a good education.
